Start Your Management Journey

Congratulations! By following the steps above, you have successfully completed the system deployment of the xSpace management component. Now, you can officially enter the Web management backend and begin various cloud desktop management tasks.

1. Console Access Entry Points

The management component provides two core Web entry points based on different operational roles. Please ensure to access using the HTTPS protocol:

1.1 System Console

Primarily used for system-wide configuration, infrastructure management, multi-tenant management, and system operation and maintenance.

  • Access Address:

    • https://master_management_node_IP/admin

1.2 Tenant Console

Primarily used for resource management, desktop assignment, policy delivery, and other business operations within the tenant.

  • Access Address:
    • https://master_management_node_IP/tenant
    • https://master_management_node_IP:44331

Refer to the Network Configuration section; if the internal port has been adjusted due to public network port mapping, please also note the change in the port number in the access address.

2. Role Permissions and Login Guide

The system provides 5 predefined roles: System Administrator, O&M Administrator, Delegated O&M Administrator, Tenant Administrator, and End User. Different roles belong to different namespaces, and their login entry points have strict restrictions:

2.1 System-Side Roles (System Console Login)

  • Involved Roles: System Administrator (default account xspace), O&M Administrator, Delegated O&M Administrator.
  • Login Entry Point: Can only log in from the System Console entry point.
  • Special Note for Delegated O&M Administrators: Although Delegated O&M Administrators have permissions to assist tenants with management and maintenance, their identity still belongs to the system namespace. Therefore, they must log in from the System Console entry point before switching to the Tenant Console.

2.2 Tenant Administrator (Tenant Console Login)

  • Involved Roles: Tenant Administrator (belongs to the tenant namespace).
  • Login Entry Point: Can only log in from the Tenant Console entry point, or log in via the client's "Personal Edition" mode.

2.3 End Users (Client Login)

  • Involved Roles: End users (belonging to their respective tenant namespaces).
  • Login Entry Point: Can only log in on the client using the "Enterprise Edition" user mode.
  • Note: When logging in, the tenant name to which they belong must be provided as prompted.

3. Initial Login Instructions

  1. Initial Account: xspace (This account is the System Administrator; please log in from the System Console).
  2. Initial Password: Please contact vendor technical support to obtain it.
  3. Forced Password Change: When you log in to the system for the first time, you will be required to change the default password.

💡 Security Advice: It is strongly recommended that you set a strong complex password (including uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters) that is completely different from the initial default password, and keep it safe.

Now that you understand the login specifications for all roles, it is recommended that you first log in to the System Console with the xspace account to perform initial resource configuration.
