SDWAN Access Gateway

The xSpace Access Gateway is a key component for delivering xSpace to the internet.

For administrators familiar with traditional virtual desktops, the SDWAN Gateway functions similarly to Citrix NetScaler or VMware Horizon UAG, responsible for secure access, traffic proxying, and link optimization.

The access gateway is a core component for realizing "external access to internal desktops". Its core value:

  • Security Shielding: As the only legitimate entry point for internal and external network isolation, it hides the true IP of internal desktops and forwards traffic through a private protocol tunnel.

  • Performance Acceleration: Unlike traditional VPN simple forwarding, SDWAN has deeply optimized for the remote desktop protocol (HSR), possessing packet loss compensation and weak network acceleration capabilities, providing a "LAN-like" operating experience.

  • Intelligent Scheduling: Supports clustered deployment and load balancing, allowing clients to automatically select the optimal access node based on gateway load and network latency, achieving high-concurrency support.

"Built-in Access Experience" The full range of xSpace clients have deeply integrated SDWAN functionality via SDKs. When users access from the public network, the client will automatically trigger intelligent dialing logic for quick connection to cloud desktops. End-users do not need to install or configure any separate SDWAN plugins or third-party apps, truly achieving a zero-perception, seamless switching public network access experience.
